Prodio – manufacturing software “written by life.”

Prodio was set up after many years of experience in consulting. There was a burning need among small manufacturing companies for a simple solution that would optimize their production.

Why we are here and how it all began?

While working with small manufacturers, we encountered the same, repeating problems with management and the organization of working time. However, the practice has shown that very often, similar actions taken at the production hall and using simple IT tools as if by magic improved the situation. The only problem was that we could work with only one Client at the time, where thousands were left without any support.

As it turned out, the breakthrough was the growing number of problems- more and more ambitious and conscious business owners often fell into the trap of companies offering various ERP systems. They spent hard-earned tens/hundreds of dollars in the hope of improving functionality. Instead, there were buried in paperwork, left their facilities in administrative chaos, and approached us for help. 

This was the inspiration to change our careers, leave secure jobs and invest in Prodio. Our mission is for each company, even the smallest one, to be able independently, efficiently and practically overnight work effectively, and use the latest technological achievements and introduce practical solutions.

Founders and executives at Prodio:

Marek Mrowiec, CEO 

Responsible for: the product to perfectly suit small manufacturers’ needs solving their problems. He is managing marketing, sales and support. Marek grew up with manufacturing traditions and graduated from Management and Production Engineering at Silesian Technical Institute. Since 2004 he has worked as a consultant of quality and management systems. He specialized in optimization and production companies development and was nominated for “Quality Man of the Year”. Due to a lack of tools for small manufacturers, he created for his Clients first production systems based on MS Excel spreadsheets and later in Google Docs.

Paweł Kotarski, CTO

Responsible for: the technical side of the project. He manages a team of programmers, codes key functionalities, ensures security and stability. Paweł is a skilled and exceptionally talented programmer, the owner of a creative agency I-Solution. After graduating from the computer and technology faculty and Silesian University, he gained recognition as a creator of an online school register- widely spoken and presented on the air by the Polish leading TV station TVN. The author of many IT systems for industry and business uses thousands of people every day. The IT tools created by Paweł were used successfully by volunteers during Euro 2012.

How we work today?

With a fast-growing number of clients from 20 branches, Prodio generates more than 35 000 operations every month (and this number is still growing). While data is stored in the modern host centre and archived via different equipment and super-fast server SSD hard drives, we are still, and we are hoping to stay a small company focused on helping other entrepreneurs in the future.

Following our philosophy, you can expect a human approach: we will listen to your needs and together try to find a satisfying solution, not just to sell you our product at any cost. We have the common goal of minimizing side costs, and the majority of subscription income is invested in the functional development of our software.

Our team is also growing to deliver the best customer service for our clients and develop software features.
